"Russia is just finishing off the Normandy format": Kuleba on the disclosure of diplomatic correspondence

The Russian Foreign Ministry's disclosure of diplomatic letters from France and Germany regarding the Normandy format obviously aims to "finish off" the Normandy format, but Ukraine will work to preserve it, and such actions by Russia only undermine its credibility.

This was stated at a briefing by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, reports "European Truth."

He noted that he would like to joke about this, but "there is nothing good in it."

"Russia's actions simply finish off the Normandy format, demonstrating that it is not interested in its development. And undoubtedly, it is undermining the rest of its own credibility. I can say one thing: we have agreed with our German and French colleagues that we will not give Russia the luxury of destroying the Normandy format with the hands of others. We will work on involving Russia in the negotiation process, diplomatic efforts to resolve this conflict," Dmitry Kuleba said.

He added that the publication of confidential correspondence will further complicate this work, but it will continue because Ukraine is interested in peace, fair solutions and security.

We shall remind you that on 17 November, the Russian Foreign Ministry published confidential diplomatic correspondence between Russian Minister Sergey Lavrov and French and German foreign ministers Jean-Yves Le Drian and Heiko Maass.
