In Odesa, on Kamanina Street, a man opened fire with a gun in an apartment and forcibly held two women. According to preliminary data, he was under the influence of drugs. This is reported by the patrol police of the Odesa region.
The incident occurred on November 17 around 06:00. Patrol officers received a call about a shooting on Kamanina Street. The woman who contacted the police stated that she and her friend had been locked in the apartment by an acquaintance and refused to let them out.
She also reported a conflict that broke out between them and the man. At some point he pulled out a gun and began shooting. After that the women locked themselves in the bathroom.
A 32-year-old man opened the door to the police officers, who arrived on the scene after repeated demands. According to law enforcement officers, he showed clear signs of drug intoxication.
The man was detained. An object similar to a traumatic gun, shells, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with signs of forgery and a roll of white powdery substance were found in the apartment.
