3.26 million cases of coronavirus disease have been recorded in the country. In the past 24 hours, November 16, more than 18 thousand cases of the disease were detected. This is more than the day before. There were 4 468 people in hospital beds. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
"During the day on November 16, 2021 in Ukraine recorded 18,668 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID - 19 ", - said the Ministry of Health.
Also on November 16:
- 294,855 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus;
- 114,029 of them had one vaccination;
- 180,826 had the entire course of vaccination.
On November 16:
- 4,468 persons were hospitalized (88.2% of them-unvaccinated);
- 769 died;
- 20,211 persons recovered.
During the pandemic 3 263 417 people became ill in Ukraine:
- 2 684 584 were cured;
- 78 754 people died;
- PCR tests were performed - 15 348 780.
On November 16, 1,312 children and 403 medical workers fell ill with coronavirus infection.
Dnipropetrovsk oblast leads in the number of COVID-19 cases (1,675). Kyiv is second (1,609), followed by Odessa (1,504), Poltava (1,168) and Zaporizhzhya (1,087) oblasts.
According to the Worldometer, which monitors the world situation with coronaviruses, Ukraine ranks 16th in disease prevalence and 18th in mortality from COVID-19.
