At the opening of trading, the price of gas in Europe dropped below $800 per 1,000 cubic meters at a time when it was expected to raise the amount of fuel supplied from Russia. Such data is provided by the ICE exchange.
December futures on the Dutch hub TTF decreased in price. It costs $791.6 per thousand cubic meters. This is 66 euros per MWh. The current euro-dollar exchange rate is taken into account, while the ICE prices are presented in euros per MWh.
In the morning, even before the opening of the exchange, the Yamal-Europe pipeline pumped almost four times more natural gas than the previous day. As of today, there is an application of Gazprom, which lists the volume of gas transit through Ukraine under the contract in the maximum amount of daily volume - 109.3 million cubic meters.
