The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine met with Gray Timothy Barrow, Political Director of the British Foreign Office, and William Taylor, Vice President for Strategic Stability and Security at the United States Institute of Peace, former Ambassador of the United States to Ukraine, in Washington DC yesterday. This was reported on the official website of the President of Ukraine. 

During the dialogue with Timothy Barrow, future political contacts as well as the first meeting of the Strategic Partnership Dialogue and the preparation for it were discussed. The sides shared their views on security in Ukraine and along its borders, energy cooperation between the states, as well as cooperation for the development of Ukraine's defense capabilities. First of all, it was about the energy security of Europe in connection with the implementation of the "Dnipro-2".

The Ukrainian side expressed gratitude to the British partners for their support for the sovereignty and independence of the state.  

The topic of the discussion with William Taylor, Vice President for Strategic Stability and Security of the United States Institute of Peace was also security around Ukraine, Potential actions for "renewal of freedom of navigation in the Black and Azov Seas" and the energy impact created for Europe by the "Dnipro Potik - 2".

The OP head spoke about the preparation for the Summit of Leaders for Democracy, which will be attended by the President of Ukraine.

Today we expect the participation of the Ukrainian delegation, which is now in the U.S., in the meeting of the Ukraine-U.S. Strategic Partnership Committee. In their composition: Yuliya Sviridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy, Valeriya Kolomiyets, Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Anatoliy Petrenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko, Deputy Minister of Culture and Oleksiy Yaremenko, Deputy Minister of Health.
