Paris and Berlin do not respond to Russia's proposal to discuss a final document before a meeting in the "Normandy format". Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said this, Russian state news agency TASS reported.
"How long can Paris and Berlin "ignore the frank, boorish, aggressive, provocative behavior" of the Ukrainian authorities, because the FRG and France "are the force ... that initiates endlessly holding Normandy meetings," Zakharova asked. According to her, Russia suggests every time before holding these meetings "to calculate what the outcome will be. It does not mean that they will be pleasant or unpleasant for somebody, but there should be a concrete result.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman added that Germany, France and Ukraine actively advocate holding the meeting. "Why? We asked this question to our Western partners as well. And in principle, we were speculating about it, trying to find an answer. I think the answer is obvious. In order, perhaps, under the guise of this consensus, which this meeting was supposed to demonstrate, to issue another indulgence for the actions of Kiev, such as today", - summarized Zakharova.
We will remind, earlier, the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Sergei Nikiforov on the air of the TV channel "House", responding to a question about the possibility of discussing the topic of ecology of Donbas within the Normandy format, noted that the further work of the Normandy format is in question.
"I do not have an unambiguous answer right now. The Normandy format itself, its continuation is under a big question. They can't agree on the next summit in the Normandy format at the highest level, even the ministers are not meeting yet. That is to say, the political part, the political agenda of the Normandy format is also very questionable, what to say about the environment. So far there is no answer, although this is a very appropriate topic for discussion at high levels in the Normandy format," Nikiforov explained.
