The head of the "Operator of the gas transport system of Ukraine" Sergey Makogon said that next week the German regulator will decide on the company's application to participate in the certification procedure of the "Nord Stream - 2". Makogon made a statement to this effect in comments to his Facebook post, reports UNN.
Sergey Makogon was asked in the comments: "Any news from the German regulator? OGTSU has not yet joined the consultations on the certification of the SP-2?" To this, the head of OGTSU replied that "a decision is expected next week".
We shall remind you that on the 20th of October the Ukrainian GTS operator submitted an application to the German energy regulator (Bundesnetzagentur) concerning participation in the certification procedure of the Nord Stream-2 operator - Nord Stream-2 AG.
Earlier, PGNiG, Polish state energy company, and its German subsidiary PGNiG Supply & Trading GmbH applied for participation in the certification process and were already admitted to the procedure by the German Federal Network Agency. In Ukraine, Naftogaz Ukrainy applied to join the process on October 15.
