3.03 million cases of coronavirus disease were reported in the country. Last week, on 4 February, 26,488 cases of the disease were detected. There were 5497 patients in hospital beds. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine reports.
For the week of 4 February 2021. in Ukraine 26 488 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID - 19 were detected", - informed the Ministry of Health.
Also on the 4th of February:
- 18,848,929 men were vaccinated against the coronavirus;
- 11,086,045 of them received single shot;
- 7,762,884 persons received full course of vaccination;
- 70,842 persons died;
- 13,281 persons were defeated.
During the entire period of the pandemic in Ukraine:
- 3 032 951 people were infected;
- 249 2419 people were treated;
- 69 447 people died;
- 14 730 826 PLR tests were performed.
On 4 February, 1,654 children and 488 health workers contracted coronavirus infection.
The Dnipropetrovsk region is leading in the number of COVID-19 cases (2,388 cases). The second place is occupied by Kyiv (1772), followed by Lviv region (1758), Kharkiv region (1733) and Odessa region (1648).
According to Worldometer, which monitors the world situation with coronaviruses, Ukraine ranks 17th for the spread of the disease and tens of thousands of deaths due to COVID-19.
