Ukraine has already registered 2.95 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19, an increase of about 19.5 thousand a day on November 1. There were 1,263 cases of the disease in children and 339 cases in health workers a day.
Almost 3.2 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is slightly less than the day before. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day on November 1, 19,455 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease were recorded in Ukraine," the Ministry of Health reported.
Also over the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 3,188 people;
- fatal cases - 700;
- 12,639 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- fallen ill - 2,955,693 persons;
- 2 454 737 people recovered;
- 68 727 deaths;
- 14,512,577 PCR tests were conducted.
Over the past 24 hours, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in Odessa (1908) region, Kiev city (1738), Dnipropetrovsk (1621), Zaporozhye (1341) and Kharkiv (1337) regions.
Meanwhile, it has become known that the hard lockdown in Kiev may last at least a month. According to estimates and forecasts of experts, the peak of the next wave of coronavirus incidence in the capital - still to come.
