Already 2.93 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been registered in Ukraine, the daily increase of nearly 14,000 cases on October 31. This figure is traditional for the weekend. Of those sick during the day: 905 children and 111 health workers.
More than 3.8 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is also less than the day before. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day on October 31 in Ukraine 13,936 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease were recorded," the Ministry of Health reported.
Also in the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 3,828 people;
- fatalities - 298;
- 5,885 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,936,238 people fell ill;
- 2,442,098 people were cured;
- 68,027 deaths;
- 14,455,647 PCR tests were conducted.
Over the past 24 hours, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in Odessa (1281), Kharkiv (1227), Lviv (1166), Zaporizhzhia (895) and Dnipropetrovsk (867) regions.
It should be noted that a full course of vaccination against coronavirus disease COVID-19 has been given to over 7.4 million people in Ukraine since late February. At the same time, a total of nearly 17.7 million vaccinations were given, of which 117 thousand were given in the last 24 hours, most of them by the first dose. This is reported by the UNN with reference to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"Over the past week 1,740,231 vaccinations were done. For comparison, this is more than for the whole of June. On October 31, 117,818 people in Ukraine were vaccinated against COVID-19. A single dose was given to 89,546 people, while 28,272 people were fully immunized," the Health Ministry said.
