The U.S. Centers for Disease Prevention and Control has classified Ukraine as a "very high risk" country for the incidence of coronavirus disease, CNN reports.
Previously Ukraine was on the "Tier 3" list of high risk. Since October 25, Ukraine has been listed in the most dangerous "level 4." Travel to such countries is not recommended, and if travel is necessary, it is possible only after a full course of vaccinations. No other countries have been added to the "Level 4" list next to Ukraine this week.
The list includes countries with 500 cases per 100,000 people in the past 28 days.
In addition to Ukraine, the UK, some European countries, Moldova and Turkey are on the most dangerous list.
November 8 opens entry to the U.S. for citizens who test negative for the coronavirus who have had a full course of vaccines approved by the WHO or U.S. regulatory agencies.
Ukraine will remain on the European Union's "green list" this week.
