In Ukraine during one day on October 19 19 thousand of people got sick. In total, 2.67 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been registered. Of those who have fallen ill in the past 24 hours: 1,447 children and 435 health workers.
Almost 5.5 thousand people were hospitalized during the day. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day in Ukraine recorded 18,912 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - reported in the Ministry of Health.
Also in the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 5,468 people;
- fatal cases - 495;
- 7,605 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- fallen ill - 2,679,185 persons;
- 2 344 799 people recovered;
- Fatal outcomes - 61 843;
- PCR tests were conducted - 13,709,705.
Over the past 24 hours, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in the Odessa (1606), Dnipropetrovsk (1253), Kharkiv (1242), Zaporizhzhia (1225) and Donetsk (1040) regions.
