Ukraine will receive another Iris-T air defense system from Germany

Helmut Rauch, head of the Diehl Defense arms company, which produces the Iris-T SLM anti-aircraft missile system, said that Ukraine will receive the new system "in the next few weeks." He said this to a Bild correspondent during a visit to Kyiv together with German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economy Robert Habek.

"Three of our systems are already in Ukraine, and more will be delivered this year. The next one will be delivered in just a few weeks," he said.

In his turn, Minister of Economy Robert Habek said that his visit is a sign that Germany should and will provide long-term support to Ukraine.

"Even in the third year of Russia's brutal and illegal war of aggression, Germany stands firmly on the side of Ukraine," the minister said.

It is known that Habek is scheduled to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko, and Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko.
