Zelenskyy: The threat of new Russian missile strikes remains these days

Ukraine remains under a specific threat of further Russian missile strikes, which is precisely why Ukraine needs additional air defense systems, – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.

During today's ballistic missile attack on Kyiv, the President of Ukraine spoke by phone with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. Zelenskyy thanked the French leader for his support.

According to him, the need for additional air defense packages for Ukraine is obvious, and Kyiv is currently working with all partners to make appropriate decisions.

"In the coming days, a specific threat of further missile strikes still exists," Zelenskyy noted.

As he pointed out, in response, it is important to increase pressure on Russia, which requires taking joint bold steps.

A separate topic of discussion was the challenges caused by the easing of sanctions on petroleum products. As the President noted, the Russians must feel that they no longer have the potential to prolong the war.
