More than 1300 amendments have been submitted to the law on mobilization. It may take about a week to review them. It will take time for the committee to process so many proposals. So, most likely, the parliament will not be able to consider the bill this week. This was reported to Suspilne by Iryna Friz, a member of the National Security Committee.


The deadline for submitting amendments ends on February 21, after which the chairman of the committee must schedule a meeting to consider them. Chernev noted that it is necessary to consider each amendment separately and group them, which may take time. Thus, it is likely that the draft law will not be introduced in the parliament this week.


The draft law on mobilization is unlikely to be considered this week.


The deadline for submitting amendments is February 21. Yehor Chernev, a member of the Security Committee and MP from the Servant of the People party, believes that it will take a week for the committee to consider the amendments, as more than 1,300 amendments have already been submitted to the law.


He explained that the amendments should be considered one by one and grouped.


"Tomorrow is the deadline for submitting amendments, and only after that the chairman has to schedule a meeting of the committee to review the amendments, I won't say what the exact number is now, but it's definitely more than 1300, so it will take, I think, a week, at least in the committee. And only then we can talk about bringing it to the hall," Chernev said.
