Russian troops attacked Ukraine again on the night of Tuesday, December 5, using both drones and missiles. This is reported by the Southern Defense Forces and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"On the night of December 5, 2023, the enemy attacked with Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs in two directions - Kursk region and Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia," the statement said.

Ukraine was also attacked by S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, which were aimed at civilian objects in Donetsk and Kherson regions.

A total of 17 Shahed-type attack UAVs and six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles were spotted.

"As a result of combat operations, 10 attack UAVs were destroyed in different regions of Ukraine," the Air Force of the Armed Forces reported.

According to the Southern Defense Forces, during a nighttime drone attack in their area of responsibility, air defense units destroyed 4 Shahed-131/136 UAVs: Two of the drones were destroyed in Mykolaiv region, one in Kherson and Vinnytsia regions. There were no hits or casualties.
