President Volodymyr Zelenskiy conducted personnel changes in the Security Service of Ukraine.

The press service of the Presidential Office announced this.

The head of the state dismissed the chief of the Security Service in Kyiv and the region Sergeiy Zayts and appointed Artem Bondarenok to take his place. At the same time, the latter was dismissed from the post of the head of the SBU in the Lviv region.

In addition, Zelenskiy dismissed Yuriy Boreychuk from the post of SBU chief in the Ternopil region.

On 19 April, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Ivan Bakanov from the post of the head of the SBU. "A total of 265 MPs voted in favor.
