Ukraine to launch an electronic queue to cross the border

Ukraine will have an electronic queue to cross the border. This will reduce queues at border crossing points and help businesses. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.

The Cabinet of Ministers is working on the development of border infrastructure. One of the most important tasks is to speed up the passage of people, vehicles and cargo at the checkpoints. This will help the citizens, as well as boost business and increase trade turnover.

Therefore, the government plans to launch a new state service "electronic queue" at the border.

The Cabinet also intends to:

Create modern service zones for trucks and drivers near border checkpoints;

to equip such zones according to EU standards throughout the country;

to expand the capacity of border crossing points, to purchase equipment for this purpose.

In addition, the government is developing a plan to equip the border infrastructure with credit and grant funds from partners, particularly Poland.
