Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said in a TV marathon that the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kiev region went on a counteroffensive and there are liberated settlements.

"In some directions we are going on a counteroffensive. And this counteroffensive is absolutely productive. We destroy and there are now liberated settlements on the territory of the Kyiv region," - said Danilov.

The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council added that now there is a clear understanding of what is happening in the Kharkiv region.
