The intensity of hostilities in the east of Ukraine remains at a high level, said Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi in a Facebook post, emphasizing the complexity of the situation on the front line.
He noted that the Russians are actively acting in various directions, including Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Kupyansk and Kharkiv, to stretch the front line.
In addition, the Russians are trying to bind Ukrainian troops and inflict maximum losses on them using armored vehicles and aerial bombs.
Syrskyi emphasized that the main goal of the Armed Forces is to deter the Russians and gradually move forward to liberate Ukrainian territories.
He also noted the effective work of commanders and staffs who are able to control the situation and use all available resources to defend Ukrainian positions.
