According to the investigation, on May 9, at about 10:15 a.m., the Russian armed forces shelled the city with artillery. A woman was injured and hospitalized. Also, a man aged 51 died in hospital due to an explosive injury.
Prosecutors, together with police investigators, collected evidence and documented the consequences of this war crime. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.
