Violence in Tbilisi: European Parliament calls for the end of Georgia's EU membership candidacy

The European Parliament has called for Georgia to be stripped of its EU candidate status due to the use of violence against protesters in Tbilisi. This was reported on Twitter by MEP Viola von Cramon.

She noted that violence requires concrete consequences, such as the termination of project funding, sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder of the Georgian Dream party, and a ban on entry to the EU for MPs who supported the draft law on “foreign agents.”
