One person was killed and three others were injured as a result of Russian artillery shelling of the center of Bilopillia, Sumy region. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
"On April 19, 2024, at about 12:00, the occupiers shelled the center of Bilopillia, Sumy district with artillery. As a result of the enemy attack, a 51-year-old civilian was seriously injured and died in hospital. Another man and two women were also wounded," the statement said.
In addition, a high-rise building, cars, shops and a pharmacy were damaged in Bilopillia, the Sumy regional prosecutor's office added.
