Russians have completely destroyed Trypillia thermal power plant in Kyiv region as a result of a massive missile attack. This was stated by Andriy Hota, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Centrenergo, in a commentary to the media.
"All the employees who were on shift during the shelling are alive," Hota said.
The shelling caused a large-scale fire in the turbine workshop. The company is currently working to localize the fire.
Earlier in March, the shelling completely destroyed Zmiivska TPP in Kharkiv region, and on 25 July 2022, Vuhlehirska TPP in Donetsk region was seized.
As a result, Centrenergo has now lost 100% of its generation.
