Almost all critical energy infrastructure has been destroyed in Kharkiv - Terekhov

Almost all critical energy infrastructure in Kharkiv has been destroyed, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"I don't know what the enemy's plan is. Almost all critical energy infrastructure has already been destroyed, and private infrastructure has also been destroyed," he told Liga.net.

According to him, Russia wants to intimidate, but it is impossible.

"For two years, we have seen different levels of threats, starting with the sabotage and reconnaissance group in Kharkiv itself. There were times when 300,000 people remained from a city of almost two million," he said.

Terekhov said the situation for the energy sector is very difficult, but no one is giving up.

"We have round-the-clock Points of invincibility. During the two days of the last blackout after the shelling, 28,000 Kharkiv residents came there. Schools provide free meals. Over the year, we have distributed 10 million meals. We have experienced more difficult times, and we will survive these," he said.
