Poland will help deliver shells purchased under the Czech Republic's plan to Ukraine

Poland will make a logistical and financial contribution to the Czech Republic's plan to increase the supply of ammunition to Ukraine through purchases outside Europe. This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski in an interview with Reuters.

"We are very pleased to contribute not only financially but also to a very efficient logistics operation so that ammunition can be delivered to where it is needed at the front," he said at a press conference in Prague.

Poland became a key distribution center for supplies to Ukraine after Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022.

The Visegrad group of Central and Eastern European countries is divided over military aid to Ukraine, with Slovakia's new government joining Hungary in refusing to participate in such initiatives.
