Ukraine and Albania have signed an agreement on friendship and cooperation. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky at a meeting with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"During a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama, we signed an agreement on friendship and cooperation between Ukraine and Albania. This document will contribute to the development of our cooperation and the strengthening of Ukraine's position in the Balkan region," the head of state wrote.
According to the agreement, Ukraine and Albania will develop mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economy, science and technology, culture, education, healthcare, media, tourism and sports.
The President also discussed with Rama Ukraine's defense needs and the possibility of joint arms production.
