Denmark has announced the signing of an agreement with Ukraine on the provision of security guarantees. The term of the agreement is 10 years. This was announced by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, as quoted by DR.
"This is the most serious situation in the field of security policy since the end of the Cold War. And the Danish government cannot emphasize how important it is that Ukraine gets the military capabilities it needs. If we do not stand together, Ukraine will not stand, and then potentially Europe will not stand," she said.
The agreement stipulates that Denmark will actively support Ukraine for 10 years in the military and other security aspects.
This security agreement is aimed at supporting Ukraine in the face of the threat from Russia and aims to prevent possible aggression by Russia in the future.
