The front near Avdiivka has stabilized, and the fighting has become "routine". This was reported by a representative of the 3rd separate assault brigade, Oleksandr Borodin, during a telethon.
According to him, the brigade is in a "steady" defense, and the Russians continue to advance.
"But this cannot be compared to what was in the city. It's routine, we can work, the front has stabilized, we are in our area of responsibility," Borodin said.
He stated that the number of Russian assaults has decreased as Russia suffered serious losses during the battle for Avdiivka.
"Two brigades lost their combat readiness, it had an impact. If there was no KAB factor, everything would have gone different. We also need effective counter-battery work, radars, ammunition and artillery systems," the military said.
