Russian troops attacked Ukrainian territory tonight, February 13, using Shahed-type kamikaze drones. Ukrainian air defense forces reportedly shot down 16 drones. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of February 13, 2024, the enemy attacked with 23 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region of the Russian Federation and Cape Chauda of the temporarily occupied Crimea," the Air Force said in a statement.
Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack. It is reported that as a result of combat operations, 16 enemy attack drones were destroyed within the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
