On the night of February 12, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 17 Shahed-type attack drones, an X-59 guided missile, and S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles. The Ukrainian military destroyed 14 enemy drones and an X-59. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The military noted that combat operations to repel the air attack were conducted in six regions. Namely, in Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The Air Force said that this night the enemy attacked with 17 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area (Russia), an X-59 guided missile (temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region) and anti-aircraft guided missiles-300 (from Belgorod region, Russia).
"Units of mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack," the statement said.
