Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski is traveling to the United States to convince Washington to provide further aid to Ukraine. The diplomat reported this in X.

"Good news from Brussels. Viktor Orban overrode his veto, and the European Union unanimously decided to allocate 50 billion euros to support the functioning of the Ukrainian state and restore its infrastructure," he said.

Sikorski added that he is flying to Washington.

"It turns out that it is worth talking to the unconvinced, so I am flying to Washington to convince the unconvinced there," the Polish Foreign Minister emphasized.
