Last night, air defense forces destroyed 11 Shahed-type attack drones launched by Russians from the south. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in Telegram.
"On the night of January 25, 2024, the enemy struck with 14 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region (RF) and Cape Chauda (Crimea), as well as four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region (RF) in the direction of Kharkiv and one from the occupied Donetsk region," the statement said.
It is noted that as a result of combat operations, 11 "Shaheds" were destroyed within Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.
"Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile firing groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack," the military added.
