Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, on Monday morning, January 22, leaving one dead and one wounded. This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk RMA.
"Russians shelled the city around 9:25 a.m. We are establishing the type of weapon used. A 49-year-old man died at the site of the hit, his 31-year-old daughter was wounded," the statement reads.
Filashkin called on local residents to evacuate the city: "Even the cities of Donbas relatively far from the front are still dangerous. There is always a threat of shelling. I ask everyone: do not ignore the danger! Evacuate!"
Novosti Donbassa reported that an administrative building was destroyed and that there were problems with electricity in one of the districts. Kramatorsk power distribution company reported that the Sotsmisto district was left without electricity.
