Son of Lviv businessman Hrynkevych is detained in Odesa

The son of Lviv businessman Ihor Hrynkevych was detained. It happened in Odesa. This was stated by Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, the press service reports.


"During an attempt to cross the border, the fifth member of a criminal organization that supplied low-quality clothing worth UAH 1 billion to the Armed Forces was detained," Kostin said.


According to the Prosecutor General, the detention took place today in Odesa at 6:50 am when Roman Hrynkevych was trying to leave the country.


According to the investigation, the suspect left for Odesa around January 17 and has been preparing to cross the state border and leave the country since then. On January 19, at the request of prosecutors, the court granted permission to detain him.


The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is being decided. The other four suspects are in custody.
