Poland calls to prepare for a new wave of Ukrainian refugees

The Polish Foreign Ministry has called to prepare for a possible new wave of refugees from Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Andrzej Szejna in an interview with Rzeczpospolita.

"Poland should not be burdened with additional responsibility in the field of migration, because although we wish the Ukrainians victory, we cannot rule out the possibility that the Russian offensive will shift the front to the West and force millions more Ukrainians to come to Poland, mostly women and children. This will be a huge burden for our country," he said.

Szejna added that Polish society should be prepared for this.
