Ukraine may hold talks with Russia due to problems with Western aid - Bloomberg

Problems with the allocation of Western aid to Ukraine are forcing its allies think that Russian President Vladimir Putin may win, and Kyiv will have to negotiate with Moscow. Bloomberg writes about this, citing sources.

According to the unnamed European officials, without being able to defend itself, Ukraine may be forced to accept a ceasefire agreement on Russia's terms.

"Some European allies have begun to calmly consider the consequences of NATO's failure in Europe's largest conflict since World War II. They overestimate the risks that a bolder Russia could pose to allies in the east," the publication writes.

Meanwhile, the Baltic states and Finland are preparing for the possibility of war with Russia. And "some European countries" may try to strengthen their ties with Russia or China to become less dependent on the "unreliable" United States.

The need to strengthen NATO's eastern flank may force Washington to choose between it and Taiwan.
