Israel plans to start hunting Hamas leaders around the world after the end of hostilities in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered spy agencies to develop a strategy to eliminate Hamas leaders in Turkey, Qatar and other countries.
It is worth noting that a similar campaign was already launched by Israel in the 1970s, aimed at eliminating Palestinian terrorists associated with the terrorist attack on the Olympic Games in Munich.
Although there were calls to eliminate Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal after the October 7 attack, the proposal was rejected due to possible diplomatic difficulties in carrying out the operation in Qatar or Turkey, which could affect efforts to free the hostages. Netanyahu had previously hinted at similar plans in November, causing irritation among those who prefer to keep such actions secret.
