Germany contributed EUR 11.5 million to NATO-Ukraine Trust Fund for Peace and Security - Baerbock

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that Berlin has decided to contribute additional funding of 11.5 million euros to the NATO-Ukraine Trust Fund. This was reported on Twitter (X) by the German Foreign Ministry.

 

 

At a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, the German official emphasized the importance of "doing everything possible" to support Ukraine's choice of "peace, freedom and security."


"The NATO-Ukraine Council will be a working engine to bring Ukraine closer to NATO," the German Foreign Ministry quoted Baerbock as saying.


She also said that NATO standards, capacity planning, and reform of the Armed Forces are "central to this path."


"Germany allocates an additional 11.5 million euros to the NATO-Ukraine Trust Fund," Baerbock said.
