Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria are close to an agreement to create a joint force to demine their Black Sea coastal waters. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.


Although all three countries are members of NATO, this mission will not be linked to the Alliance.


Ankara has recently said that NATO's presence in the region could increase tensions.


The plan is to clear a trade route for grain exports and ships exploring energy resources in the area.
