Pentagon increases military aid to Israel without public announcement - Bloomberg

The US Department of Defense has increased the supply of military aid to Israel without public announcement. Ammunition and missiles are being transferred "almost daily". This was reported by Bloomberg.

The Pentagon is meeting the needs of the Israeli Defense Forces, including an increase in the number of laser-guided missiles for Apache helicopters, as well as 155mm shells, night vision devices, bunker-busting ammunition, and new military vehicles.

This information comes from an internal document of the US Department of Defense, the publication claims.

The supply of American weapons to Israel goes beyond the shipment of interceptor missiles for the Iron Dome system and Boeing Co. smart bombs.

"The weapons that Israel is seeking in its fight against Hamas, a terrorist group recognized by the United States and the European Union, are listed in a document titled 'Requests from a Senior Israeli Leader,' dated late October and circulating in the Pentagon," the publication writes.

According to the document, the weapons have already been delivered or are in the process of being delivered to the US Department of Defense from stockpiles in the US and Europe.

According to estimates, by the end of October, all 36,000 rounds of ammunition for 30 mm guns, 1,800 M141 anti-bunker ammunition, and at least 3,500 night vision devices had been delivered to Israel.

The Pentagon declined to disclose details, but in a statement, the department said it "utilizes multiple sources, from domestic stockpiles to industrial channels in the United States, to provide Israel with the means to defend itself."

"This security assistance continues to arrive almost daily," the US Department of Defense said.

The Pentagon statement also emphasizes that the United States is rapidly delivering precision munitions, small diameter bombs, 155mm artillery shells, and other munitions, not including "Iron Dome" interceptors and medical equipment.
