President of the Czech Republic: Ukraine is not gaining military advantage, time is playing in favor of Russia

Czech President Petr Pavel believes that the current situation at the front does not indicate that Ukraine can gain a military advantage, and time is playing in favor of Russia, which has a stronger mobilization base for manpower. He said this in the Novinky.

"Negotiations may begin next year, as developments do not indicate that the Ukrainian side will gain a military advantage. Time is now playing in favor of Russia, which has a stronger mobilization base for manpower. Having won time, it will also be able to replenish the material base that it has long lacked. We see massive supplies from North Korea, we see attempts to circumvent sanctions," the Czech president said.

Pavel emphasized that Russia can count on the results of the US presidential election next year and is trying to drag out the conflict. However, he expressed his belief that the West should continue to support Ukraine at this important time.

"The situation is not unequivocally positive. What should be positive for Ukraine is that we are on their side and should support them in achieving their goals. For our part, we have no choice but to continue to provide support," he said.
