Mass searches of the Allatra movement: suspected of ties to Russia

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police are conducting mass searches of the "Allatra" movement across Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrainian media with reference to sources.

"Allatra" positions itself as a public union that operates outside of politics and religion. In Russia, its activities are banned for "discrediting the Russian army."

"According to law enforcement officials, this pseudo-religious organization worked in the interests of the Russian Federation and systematically promoted Kremlin narratives in our society," the sources said.

In 2015, the UOC called the movement a "destructive cult." In Ukraine, it is often called a "sect".

Formally, this organization was registered in 2014, but its actual activiy began in 2010.

"Allatra" is known for propagating pseudoscience and various conspiracy theories involving aliens and secret influential elites.
