Night Attack: Nine "Shaheds" were shot down in Odesa region

On the night of October 23, Russian troops attacked Odesa region with Shahed attack drones, nine of which were shot down by air defense forces. This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the night attack lasted more than 3.5 hours. The enemy sent kamikaze drones from the Crimean Cape Chauda to the port infrastructure of Odesa region. They were attacking from the sea, where they were met by air defense units.


"Nine UAVs were shot down in Odesa region, and one more in Vinnytsia region," the Defense Forces said.


Debris from the downed drone damaged the roof of a warehouse building at a port infrastructure facility in Odesa district. The fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters. No one was injured.
