According to a statement by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, the country's High Military Command held talks with the US High Military Command.
The composition of the participants in this meeting was exceptional. In addition to Andriy Yermak and Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, the entire military command took part in the talks: Army Commander Volodymyr Syrskyi, Tavria Commander Vladyslav Tarnavskyi, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, his first deputy Ihor Pavlyuk, Air Force Commander Yuriy Oleshchuk, Head of the Defence Intelligence Service Serhiy Budanov, National Guard Commander Ivan Pivnenko, and Head of the State Border Guard Service Mykhailo Deineko.
The US side was also represented by senior military officials, including US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
During the negotiations, the Ukrainian government presented information on the situation at the front and highlighted the key needs of the Defense Forces. Special attention was paid to the need to strengthen the protection of Ukrainian cities and infrastructure from Russian air attacks.
