In the temporarily occupied Crimea, a batch of Russian P-800 Onyx missiles was destroyed as a result of explosions at an ammunition warehouse. It was these invaders who shelled Odesa and Mykolaiv Oblast for several days in a row.
This is reported by the Crimean Partisans Telegram channel.
"Our sources report that a batch of P-800 Onyx missiles was destroyed at the BC warehouse near Dzhankoy, with which the Russians have been shelling Odesa and Mykolaiv for several days," the report says.
If there were really "Onyx" in the warehouse, then the losses of the invaders are estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars. After all, the cost of one such rocket is from $1.25 to $1.30 million.
P-800 "Onyx" is a Soviet/Russian medium-range supersonic universal anti-ship missile designed to combat surface naval groups and single ships in conditions of strong fire and radio-electronic countermeasures. In addition, it can be used against ground targets, while the range of the target can be increased. Such missiles are difficult to shoot down with air defense equipment available in Ukraine.
So far, neither the Russian occupation authorities nor Ukrainian officials have officially announced what exactly was destroyed in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
We will remind you that the Russian aggressors announced the attack of drones and explosions this morning, July 24, in the occupied Crimea. According to preliminary information, an ammunition depot was hit in the Dzhankoy district.
