According to data on Tuesday morning, July 4, the Ukrainian military eliminated 770 Russian soldiers during the day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 231,030 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed 32 artillery systems and 29 UAVs.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 04.07.23 approximately amounted to:
personnel - about 231,030 (+770) people were liquidated,
tanks ‒ 4059 (+2) units,
armored combat vehicles - 7908 (+9) units,
artillery systems - 4252 (+32) units,
RSZV - 647 (+6) units,
air defense equipment - 394 (+3) units,
aircraft - 315 units,
helicopters - 309 units,
UAVs of operational-tactical level - 3602 (+29),
cruise missiles - 1264,
ships/boats - 18 units,
automotive equipment and tank trucks - 6843 (+9) units,
special equipment - 590 units.
The situation at the front
According to the General Staff, the occupiers are concentrating their main efforts in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Marin areas, and heavy fighting is taking place.
Over 40 combat clashes took place during the day. At the same time, according to the ISW report, the Armed Forces conduct counteroffensive operations in at least four areas of the front.
In particular, in the south, Ukrainian soldiers managed to liberate 154.4 square kilometers of territory.
