The leader of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation was deceiving the Russians and the Russian dictator, Vladimir Putin, while preparing the invasion of Ukraine.
He said this in an interview with criticism of the Kremlin, which was published by his press service.
"A poorly planned operation. A bunch of idiots for some reason decided that they are so cunning that no one will understand what they are doing during the training, and no one will stop them when they go to Kyiv," Prigozhin said.
The leader of the PKK is sure that "no one would have stopped the Russian occupation forces" if "the degenerates had not built long columns" and "had not sent naked and barefoot soldiers."
He also stated that all the false goals of the attack on Ukraine previously voiced by Moscow do not correspond to reality.
"We wash ourselves in blood." Russian troops are retreating in the direction of Zaporozhye and Kherson — Prigozhyn
In Prigozhin's opinion, it was allegedly possible to come to an agreement with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and avoid a major war even during the OOS in Donbas.
"As far as I am immersed in this story, when Zelenskyі became the president, he was ready for any agreements. All that had to be done was to get down from Olympus, go and negotiate,” he said.
The head of the Wagner PMC also believes that the real purpose of the invasion was an economic component.
"Medvedchuk was waiting for Russian troops to arrive, Zelenskyi to flee, everyone to lay down their arms, and he would become the president of this Ukraine. The task was in material assets, which will have to be divided after they take it under control," Prigozhin summarized.
During the campaign to occupy Bakhmut, Prigozhin criticized Shoigu and the military leadership of the Russian Federation for allegedly not giving shells to his soldiers.
In May, Prigozhin recorded a video in which he, standing in the background of the bodies of the "Wagnerians", called Shoigu and the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov "bitches who fatten up in offices."
