NATO exercises with the participation of 14,000 military personnel have ended in Estonia

The eighteenth Spring Storm military exercise of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization ended in Estonia on Friday.

 

 This was reported by the Estonian Defense Forces.

 

 Nearly 14,000 military personnel, including conscripts, reservists, conscripts, members of the Defense League and allied forces from 11 NATO countries, took part in the Spring Storm-23 exercises, which lasted from May 15 to 26.

 

 During the exercises, the synchronization of the combat plans of the Defense Forces, the cooperation between the command levels and the readiness of the units to perform combat tasks were evaluated.

 

 Hundreds of pieces of equipment were involved in the exercises: armored vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, self-propelled artillery installations, rocket launchers, airplanes, helicopters and naval ships.

 

 Spring Storm is Estonia's largest annual military exercise. During the maneuvers, the Defense Forces practice the planning and execution of military operations, and improve the interaction between Estonian units and allied forces.
