The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the latest Russian missile and drone attacks against civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.

 In a statement released on Friday, the French Foreign Ministry "in the strongest terms" condemned the strikes targeting Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, stressing that this was the thirteenth attack on the Ukrainian capital in May.

 "These strikes were again deliberately aimed at civilian objects, in particular, at a hospital in Dnipro, which is a gross violation of international humanitarian law," they said.

 "As the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna, has repeatedly emphasized, these unacceptable actions are war crimes and should not go unpunished," added the French Foreign Ministry.

 The French side emphasized that it will support Ukrainian courts and the International Criminal Court to prosecute those involved in these crimes, as well as provide Ukraine with humanitarian and military support "as much as it will be necessary."

 On May 26, Russian troops launched a missile attack, prohibited by the Geneva Convention, on a polyclinic and a veterinary clinic in the city of Dnipro.

 As a result, 31 people were injured, including two children, at least two people died, three more are considered missing.
